Established in 1988 Knitwit is a small family owned and run business providing the UK’s only mail order service dedicated to Jersey and knitted fabrics for the home and professional dressmakers alike, we do not sell woven fabrics or seconds.
We may be small but we probably have the largest selection of stretch fabrics in the UK with over three hundred different fabrics to choose from in our range of basic plain, seasonal and special fabrics. In addition to our wide range of fabric and ribbing we have books, patterns and sewing notions to meet your needs including specialised items for use with stretch fabrics.
Mail Order Service
Although we are based in St Ives, Dorset, the majority of our customers are spread across the whole of the UK, we also have customers in many countries of the EU.
Details of our mail order service and sample swatches of our extensive range of fabrics can be obtained for a small fee of £5.00 using the Order Form attached.
In addition to our mail order service and for a annual subscription of £12.00 you can also join our Knitwit Fabric Club and benefit from discounts and promotions exclusive to our club members.
We are proud of our customer care service as we genuinely want to help others learn how to use these easy care fabrics to create their own distinct wardrobe of clothes to suite their lifestyle and to meet their needs for fit and image.
We offer a free help line service to all of our customers where questions can be answered and help given for solving those little problems that we all encounter from time to time.
