  • Q. Can I buy fabrics without being a Knitwit Fabric Club member?
  • A. Yes but you will not qualify for the discounts and benefits of membership
  • Q. If I join the Knitwit Fabric Club will I receive a complete set of fabric swatches including the basic plain fabrics?
  • A. No but you will automatically receive the current seasonal and all future new fabric releases without any additional cost.
  • Q. How do I get samples of the current basic plain and seasonal fabrics?
  • A. Send in a request or Order Form for samples together with £5.00 in cheque, Postal Order or your credit card details and we will send a complete set to you.
  • Q. What will I receive if I send in £5.00 for samples?
  • A. Your Sample pack will include small fabric swatches of all of our basic plains and seasonal patterned fabrics, where the pattern is large we enclose pictures of a skirt length as well. Also in the pack are details of our Knitwit fabric Club, details of books and patterns, and our range of sewing notions
  • Q. Can I return fabric if I change my mind and will I get a full refund?
  • A. Yes, we have a money back guarantee with all of our fabrics so will always replace or refund to your satisfaction, providing that you have not washed or cut the fabric. This does not include the cost of postage unless it is defective when of course we will pay postage.
  • Q. Do I need to use a Serger or over-locking machine to sew stretch fabrics?
  • A. You can but you do not need to for two reasons:
    • Jersey and knitted fabrics do not fray
    • You can use a straight stitch with a regular machine using a long stitch and by gently stretching the fabric as you feed it through the machine.
  • Q. Do you have to dry clean or use special treatment for Jersey and knitted fabrics?
  • A. None of the knitted fabrics that we sell require dry cleaning unless we specifically say so but almost all of them are the coolest wash fabrics. Our fabrics are all easy care thereby saving energy and you money.
